Hello Missouri FCCLA!
Congratulations on another AMAZING year of achievements and dedication! Each chapter’s hard work this past year has not only been noticed by the state association, but also greatly appreciated. I am still reminiscing on the State Leadership Conference and all of the inspiring things I saw. Whether it was competing in an event or attending workshops, each member showed their dedication to this organization in their own unique ways. Your commitment, time, and effort into helping make Missouri FCCLA shine is something we are all incredibly proud of.
While the school year may be wrapping up, the National Leadership Conference in Seattle, Washington is right around the corner! I hope you all are as excited as I am to visit the Emerald City and embark on new journeys together. From insightful messages from our National Board, exciting activities for members to participate in, sightseeing around the city, and so much more, there is so much to do with your time up in Washington. I have no doubt that everyone attending will have an outstanding time!
Be sure to bring your spirit, Missouri! I know the noise and excitement we can bring to the room, so don’t be afraid to be just as outgoing at Nationals! Best of luck to everyone competing in an event at NLC, we are honored to have you representing Missouri and know you will continue to shine!
But wait, the excitement doesn’t end there! I’m thrilled to announce and kick off our blog to help us be with you every step of the way! Each week, this blog will be updated with a new message by a member of the State Executive Council. This allows us to be able to communicate information more frequently with you. Ranging from tips on chapter building, to strategies for personal growth, and everything in between. This year, we are committed to creating a further connection and sense of community within Missouri FCCLA, which starts with us offering guidance that helps each chapter reach even greater heights of impact, affiliation, and leadership. Be sure to keep up with our instagram: @missourifccla, our facebook: Missouri FCCLA, and our website: https://missourifccla.org/ to stay further engaged with us!
As you head into your summer planning sessions and start preparing for the 2024- 2025 school year, I urge you and your chapters to push the boundaries of what you have done before. Whether it’s learning more about and supporting a national program, exploring new events, or creating new and exciting ways to promote FCCLA within your community, the opportunities for success surround us. If you ever feel stuck and looking for inspiration, this blog is a great place to find it!
Missouri FCCLA, get ready to make this year the best one yet! I can not wait to see everything you accomplish!!
Cheers!
