The Missouri FCCLA Board of Directors is the governing body of Missouri Association Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. The Board of Directors shall consist of members from a diverse spectrum of stakeholders that may include chapter advisers, business and industry representatives, educators, school administrators, and youth members. The board shall be composed of no more than thirteen members. The primary functions of the Board of Directors are to set policy related to program, personnel, and fiscal matters and to be responsible for sound management. The board receives and acts upon the recommendations of the State Adviser relative to the management of personnel, program, and fiscal matters. Missouri FCCLA’s State Adviser also serves on the Board of Directors but does not have the power to cast a vote.
