This rigorous day provides the opportunity for middle school FCCLA members to participate in a hands-on culinary training. Participants will learn basic culinary skills, etiquette, safety and sanitation, as well as basic recipe development and practice. To showcase their skills, participants will compete in a mystery basket competition, developing and preparing a recipe utilizing three of five mystery ingredients with access to a stocked pantry and fridge to supplement the mystery ingredients.
