Competitive Events Volunteers
It is with the support of our amazing volunteer evaluators and room consultants that Missouri FCCLA is able to execute and evaluate hundreds of competitive events at State Leadership Conference. Any individual who is out of high school may volunteer as an evaluator or adult room consultant for STAR Events or Show-Me Skills.
Our talented Competitive Events team will find the best competitive events for you to work with based on your knowledge and experience, along with your interests. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering for STAR Events or Show-Me Skills and are not registered, fill out the volunteer form. If you are registered for the conference, indicate in your registration that you would like to volunteer.
Spotlight on Projects
Spotlight on Projects highlights completed projects from the past year, whether completed by the chapter or individuals. Examples may include Power of One projects, National Program projects, STAR Events or Show-Me Skills projects, community service projects, fundraisers, etc. The event will not only provide a showcase opportunity for those participating, but will also serve as a learning opportunity for those who stroll the spotlight area!
Projects will be on display Monday, March 16 in Expo A (with the Exhibitors) from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Each project will have half of an 8-foot table and one chair. Electricity will not be provided. Participants will have time to set up displays between 7:00-8:30am. Please note that Spotlight on Projects is offered at the same time as several other conference activities. Chapters should ensure that projects are not left alone and have a representative available for the duration of the event.
Deadline: February 1, 2026 @ 6:00pm
